Windows Vista Wireless Management Configuration

1) Click on Start and then Control Panel

2) Click on the "Network and Sharing Center" icon.

3) Click on "Manage Wireless Networks."

4) Click on "ADD"

5) Click on "Manually create a network profile"

6) Enter the following information:

Network name: eku_secure

Security type: WPA2-Enterprise (WPA-Enterprise Supported)

Encryption type: AES

CHECK MARK the "Connect even if the network is not broadcasting" box.

CLICK "NEXT"

7) CLICK "Change connection settings"

8) Confirm that all boxes are checked.

9) Click on the "Security" Tab

The check box next to "Cache user information for subsequent connections to this network" should NOT be checked if this is a multiple user computer.

10) Click on the PEAP "settings" button

11) CHECK: "validate server certificate"

12) CHECK: "Connect to these servers:" and ENTER "ekuwifi.eku.edu"

13) CHECK: "Equifax Secure Certificate Authority" If this is not listed continue with       instructions

14) CHECK: "Enable Fast Reconnect"

15) CLICK the Secured Password "Configure" button

16) Uncheck the "Automatically user my Windows Logon Name and password…." Button.

17) Click the OK, OK, and OK.

18) Close all windows and reboot your computer.

19) After reboot click on the following popup

20) Enter your ekey information

You will now connect to the EKU Secured Wireless Network
