Eastern Kentucky University is in the process of updating the current wireless network in Classroom Buildings as well as rolling out its wireless network in the residential dormitories. The wireless network is based on the 802.11a/b/g/N standard and utilizes the 802.1x protocol.  This method provides a secure network login (using your E-key username and password), and provides encryption of your network traffic.
